About

Rebecca graduated Swansea University with a 1st class (hons) Masters of Osteopathy. The four year course gave Rebecca an excellent opportunity to work with a wide variety of different patients and gain a deeper understanding of lifestyle and societal factors associated with pain and the patients healing journey. Having previously been a dental nurse, Rebecca works a lot with TMJ dysfunctions, and enjoys supporting pregnant patients throughout their pregnancy and into post partum.

She is also passionate about foot biomechanics and the benefits of training and being barefoot more often, having written her dissertation on this subject. She can and will talk for hours on this subject!

Rebecca has undergone further training in RESTORE scar therapy to provide exceptional care and evidence based non-invasive scar therapy for a variety of scars.

Scar therapy is something Rebecca is extremely passionate about, and she frequently gives educational talks in both Wales and England to charitable organisations and post-surgery patients about scar self-care.

Rebecca is also an animal lover and is currently completing her postgraduate certificate in Animal Osteopathy, where she hopes to treat primarily horses and dogs. When not working, Rebecca is off exploring the countryside (barefoot where possible), travelling to far flung corners of the world, or trying to rescue her beloved organic vegetable garden from the hardy Welsh slugs!
